Meet the Nurse

My name is Natasha Myers, or “Nurse Natasha” as the students like to call me! I have been the school nurse here in Greenfield since September 2012 & I am also the Care to Learn Liaison for the Greenfield Chapter and coordinator for our Wildcat Packs program. I am a Registered Nurse and graduated from Southwest Baptist University- Mercy School of Nursing & Health Sciences program. Prior to becoming a school nurse, I was the nurse for one of the neurosurgeons at Cox Health- Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute where I acquired invaluable experience and knowledge. Prior to that, I also gained bedside experience in neuroscience, orthopedics, cardiology and some pediatrics. I sometimes miss the fast paced and exciting world of neurosurgery, but School Nursing has provided its own share of challenge and excitement. I’ve never had a more personally rewarding job and I love it here! My husband and I are both Greenfield Wildcat alumni and we have two children in Greenfield Schools- Addi & Ayden. When I am not being your school nurse, I stay busy spending time with my family, taking care of the animals on our farm, teaching dance fitness classes and driving my kids to their many activities (Addi is a competitive dancer and Ayden plays all of the sports!). I consider it a blessing to be part of Greenfield Schools, thank you so much for allowing me to take care of your children every day! Here’s to a happy and healthy school year!
