The high school art class was visited by Chris Short on Thursday, February 16. The yearbook class joined to hear him talk about photography class opportunities. Other happenings in the art room include clay work, painting, 3D artwork planning and building, and  drawing with various materials. The HS art club meets after school every Thursday and the JH art club will be meeting after school every Wednesday. They will be painting spring themed windows around town as well as a few business murals.

The elementary art room has been in a flurry of yarn and string, learning how to sew. In addition to sewing, students have been working on 3D artwork, painting, drawing and participating in the Water and Soil Conservation poster contest for 3rd - 6th grade. We had some fun family art nights where students brought  their family to participate in an art activity. February's art night was Valentine box decorating. In March, we will be hosting a kindergarten art readiness night and in April, a family painting night. More information will be coming out about these events.
