Samuel Judd’s first place formula poem from the Language Arts Department (LAD) Fair was chosen to be performed in the Dance-a-Poem program at the April 27, 2019, LAD Fair Program held at Willard High School.  Samuel, an eighth grade student at Greenfield Jr. High, wrote his poem in his language arts class taught by Renee Burton. His first place poem, titled Once I Had It All, was a Growing Up poem and was entered in the 7th-8th grade Other Formula Poetry category. To be chosen for performance in the Dance-a-Poem program, a poem must be a first place winner and be conducive to a dance performance. Dancers from Dance Canvas Performing Arts Center of Springfield, Missouri, delivered a beautiful performance of Samuel’s poem.
