Mrs. Strieter's 4th Grade class has been learning about fractions, and what better way to support that learning than to make cookies. Students were assisted in reading a gingerbread cookie recipe, and were tasked with doubling the recipe.
In our learning about fractions, one student made a cake to share with the class, and used fractional reasoning to cut it so everyone got the same sized piece.
