The Greenfield Lady Wildcats wrapped up a season defined by hard work, steady momentum, and success on February 25 during Class 2 District 12 Tournament play.
The Lady Wildcats marked a progressive 17-11 record, marking a clear headway for the program and delivering its most successful season since the district championship run in 2022-23.

Throughout the winter, the Lady Wildcats consistently proved they could compete and garnered respect from area teams. The team took a 1st place finish at the Everton Tournament, a 2nd place finish at the Golden City Tournament, and earned an opportunity to compete in the consolation championship of the competitive 16 team Walnut Grove Holiday Classic.
The 2025-26 roster reflected promise for the future of Lady Wildcat basketball. The team was made up of two freshmen, four sophomores, four juniors, and one senior. A balanced mix of underclassmen and leadership allowed the team to build chemistry while gaining valuable experience.

While the team made their mark on the court, their achievements extended beyond the hardwood. In the classroom the team boasted a 3.77 cumulative GPA.
The Lady Wildcats embody the true meaning of being student-athletes. Through their hard work and character, they have brought a strong sense of pride to our district.
Congratulations, Lady Wildcats!
