Greenfield Elementary welcomed Alicia Burton to their faculty at the start of the 2020-2021 school year, where she is teaching second grade.
Ms. Burton graduated from Ash Grove High School in 2015, from OzarksTechnical Community College in 2017, and from Missouri State University in 2019. She was the recipient of the Rural School Partnership with Community Foundation of the Ozarks scholarship and is a current member of this organization. Ms. Burton also received the Republic Area Retired School Personnel Association scholarship and is a member of Missouri State Teachers Association.
Ms. Burton’s parents are longtime teachers at Greenfield Jr./Sr. High, giving her a personal connection to the Greenfield School community. She is very happy to be joining Greenfield Elementary.
Ms. Burton comes to Greenfield with one year teaching experience in the third grade.
