Meet the Counselor - Brielle Breedlove

Dear community,

Hello and welcome back! I hope that you and your family had a relaxing summer. My name is Bri Breedlove, and I am thrilled to be the new full time counselor here in Greenfield. This is going to be a very exciting year filled with learning, growing, and new adventures. First, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I was born and raised in a small town near Wichita, Kansas. After high school I attended college at Evangel University where I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Master degree in School Counseling. I married my awesome husband, Justin Breedlove in 2016. We are beyond excited to start our journey in Greenfield.

This will be my first year as a School Counselor, and I consider myself lucky to be pursuing my passion in a wonderful community. I am excited to get this school year started. There are many changes occurring this year with new staff to new procedures and exciting new activities. The School Counseling department is excited to share some of the changes that we are implementing this year. At the elementary I will be leading a character education assembly three days a week. This will involve every student K-6 and their classroom teacher. We will be learning character traits that improve our citizenship. At the Junior High and High school Mr. Hyde has developed a morning routine that involves homerooms. This gives the students the opportunity to start the school day with a positive perspective and collaborate with their peers and teachers in a structured manner. I will be using this time to implement small groups, with specific groups being created based on student needs.

My main goal for this school year is to build relationships with students and help with their future successes. I pursued my dream of helping people by becoming a School Counselor. Positivity, organization, and developing new strategies are strengths I plan to incorporate this year as the Greenfield School Counselor. I cannot wait to make a difference in our community. I look forward to getting to know you, your family, and most importantly our students.

Best Regards,

Bri Breedlove
