On April 6, Greenfield 7th graders traveled to the capitol in Jefferson City. Students toured the capitol building with Johanna Henry, visited Representative Ann Kelley's office, listened to Representatives debate on the House floor, visited the Secretary of State's office to learn about the state seal, ate lunch outside Senator Bill White's office, visited the Senate Chamber with Sen. White, toured the Whispering Gallery and Dome with Mike Kelley, and attended presentations at the Missouri Archives. Students were sponsored by teachers Brad Burton and Renee Burton and our bus driver was Kyle Keling. It was a fun and very educational trip.
