Superintendent Update

Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year!  I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve our great community for another year as your superintendent of schools.

The beginning of a new school year is an exciting time for all students and families, and it is our goal that the excitement is because of school life and not due to outside variables.  Our faculty and staff have been working diligently preparing for the start of school year and while we are still living through the COVID-19 pandemic, it is my hope that our planning will pay off and the school year will be able to go on as planned.

This virus has caused many concerns throughout the nation, but I am confident that we will be able to come together as a society and get through this difficult time.  The safety and health of our students, faculty and staff has always come first and this year will be no different.

It is understandable that many questions exist regarding school plans to re-open.  To help answer some of these questions, the district’s re-entry plan and additional information regarding COVID-19 can be found on the district web-page and will be updated throughout the school year.

The 2020-2021 school year will provide tremendous opportunities for us to continue to grow educationally as a community and we must be prepared to take advantage of those opportunities.  I am confident that through the development of a district culture that promotes collaborative relationships and continuous growth, we will flourish.

District information will continue to be posted on our district web-page, www.greenfieldr4.org, frequently.  In addition to the website, our district has a mobile app that can be found on both the App Store and Google Play.  Be sure to visit us on Facebook, Twitter and on our website for the most up to date information regarding Greenfield R-IV.

We look forward to working with you and your children and thank you for the continued support that you provide our school district.

Sincerely,

Chris Kell

Superintendent
