Public Notice - September 21, 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Greenfield R-IV personnel received information today, Monday, September 21st, that a student tested positive, in our JH/HS building, for COVID-19.  Discussion with the Dade County Health Department is ongoing to implement contact tracing and for any additional guidance needed regarding the situation.  The Dade County Health Department will contact the parents/guardians of any student that requires quarantine.

The school district continues to remain in the yellow stage of the district's COVID-19 Plan. Yellow requires the following:

1- Mandatory masks for 7-12 students during transition times, high traffic, and common areas where social distancing cannot be maintained.

2- Mandatory temperature checks for all students prior to entering district buildings each morning or taking their seat on the bus.

3- Mandatory temperature checks for all staff prior to entering district buildings each morning.

4- Masks will be mandatory on the school bus for all students

Mask will continue to be provided to all students who do not have masks when boarding district transportation or any student grades 7-12 that do not have a mask.  Students at the Elementary School will be provided masks upon request.

Sincerely,

Chris Kell

Superintendent
