Lewandowski

On Wednesday, 4/21/2021,  Connor Lewandowski broke the school record in the 100m Dash with a time of 10.79 seconds. The previous record was 10.83 seconds set by Brendan Black in 2014. Head Coach Olivia Dobbs states, "Connor has been working very hard this year to achieve his goals in the 100M Dash, 200M Dash, and 400M. He has ran personal bests this year of 23.50 seconds in the 200M and 54.54 seconds in the 400M. We look forward to the end of the year with watching Connor continuing to reach more personal bests." Way to go Connor!

Wednesday, 4/21/2021, continued to show well for Greenfield High School as the High School Girls team took 2nd place overall out of 8 teams. With only 5 total athletes, the girls' team tallied a  92 point team total. Tatum Torres, Marlie Wright, Haley Gossett, Ashley Daniel, and Ellee Land were of the five girls that took away 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronze medals. Two of the silver medals were a part of the 4x1 and 4x2 relay teams. Coach Dobbs showcased her enthusiasm for this group in the following statement, "This group of young ladies have been working relentlessly and beating so many of their own personal bests this season. We are excited to see them bring home even more medals with one more regular-season track meet in Mount Vernon on Thursday(4/29/21)  and Districts on Saturday, May 8th."
