Wildcat Athletics

The Lady Wildcat volleyball team had impressive results this summer at the Pleasant Hope Summer Volleyfest and at Branson for the Licking Volleyball Tournament.  Once again, our summer efforts were paid for from the proceeds of our annual fundraiser. Many dreams and goals were not attained this season yet so many life lessons in resilience were brought to life. Our volleyball team proved to be strong, determined, courageous young athletes. Throughout multiple injuries, we still managed to finish with a record of 17-9-5. We made it to the gold bracket in both the Verona and Pleasant Hope Tournaments and played for the district championship for the third straight year before falling to the eventual Class One State Champion. "11 Strong" was our motto and it took all eleven players for this season to be possible. Players earning All District honors were Jasmine Feezell, Trista Torres, and Marlie Wright. Our team will greatly miss our senior athlete, Jodie Lewis. We are excited for next season with several promising athletes moving up to high school and a solid roster of returning players.
