Greenfield R-IV School District

We’ve been having a great time in 2nd grade! We’ve been learning about the different types of measurements and using our skills to see who has the biggest feet in the class and how tall the slides are on the playground. We have had many adventures while reading! Our favorite class book was Slappy’s World and we’ve been trying to find a book that we love just as much. We are currently reading Eerie Elementary and trying to decide if our school is just as creepy and needs a hall monitor to rescue us. We’re working hard to meet our AR goals so that Mrs. Violett will buy us all donuts! Our time in Science has us practicing our teamwork skills and our Social Studies time has us focusing on Greenfield and all of the important roles in our local government. I’ve loved watching the students work together and help each other through any struggles we have. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
