Parents and guardians of Greenfield students. We are experiencing a large increase in sickness at this time so we thought it would be a good time to review our sickness policy. We are seeing a large amount of Strep throat at this time as well as a stomach bug, pink eye (conjunctivitis) and hand, foot and mouth disease (coxsackievirus). We are starting to see some covid and flu as well. Please use your judgment in sending your child to school while they are sick. This is to help control the spreading of sickness as well as protecting our immune suppressed students/faculty. We would also like to encourage you to help build their immune systems by having them eat their fruits/veggies, practice good hygiene, get plenty of physical activity regularly, get adequate sleep, and take a good multivitamin. Please read the accompanying information below. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our schools healthy! Natasha Myers, R.N.

We hope to see everyone out for the Halloween parade tomorrow, October 31, at 9:30 am. We start at the elementary, go around the square, pass by the high school, and make our way back to the elementary. Remember, no scary costumes, masks, blood, weapons, creepy makeup, etc. Also, it will be chilly outside so make sure your kids are dressed warm.

Greenfield Elementary had 3 great assemblies this week! Yesterday, we had a magic show for Red Ribbon Week. Today, we had our awards assembly for 1st quarter. The HS cheer and GYAA helped get us pumped up for the awards our final assembly was from AOK and it was for Red Ribbon Week as well. Red Ribbon Week is a time we focus of the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol, and smoking.
