Parents and guardians of Greenfield students. We are experiencing a large increase in sickness at this time so we thought it would be a good time to review our sickness policy.
We are seeing a large amount of Strep throat at this time as well as a stomach bug, pink eye (conjunctivitis) and hand, foot and mouth disease (coxsackievirus). We are starting to see some covid and flu as well. Please use your judgment in sending your child to school while they are sick. This is to help control the spreading of sickness as well as protecting our immune suppressed students/faculty. We would also like to encourage you to help build their immune systems by having them eat their fruits/veggies, practice good hygiene, get plenty of physical activity regularly, get adequate sleep, and take a good multivitamin.
Please read the accompanying information below. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our schools healthy!
