Greenfield FCCLA members traveled to the regional leadership conference on Oct 19th. They heard an inspiring message from speaker Matt Hutson. He discussed the importance of making good decisions about who you surround yourself with and making sound financial choices.





Save the date for the PTO's Fall Carnival at Greenfield Elementary! We are so excited that the PTO is organizing this event. Mark your calendars for November 4. Dinner will be at 5:30PM. Games will be from 6-8:00PM with the king and queen coronation to follow. See you there!


Next week is Red Ribbon Week. See images for themes. Please note that the buildings are slightly different.
Red Ribbon Week is for drug-abuse prevention and awareness. Students will spend the week learning how to stay healthy and drug free.

Tonight is the final night of Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will begin at 4:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm.

Greenfield R-IV will not be in session Friday, October 21st or Monday, October 24th.

Jostens will be visiting with seniors to pass out cap and gown information. Packets need to be turned in by October 27.


Greenfield Elementary Reminders:
1. Parent/Teacher Conferences tonight and Thursday 4-7 pm
2. Coin drive for the carnival starts today. Be sure to stop in the office to drop off your coins. Buckets are labeled for each grade. This will run through Thursday, Nov 3.
3. Raffle info is coming home with students for the carnival.
4. While at conferences, be sure to sign up for a time to work a carnival game and for something to bring for the class basket.

It's National School Lunch Week!


Tomorrow's Buffalo Tournament will be played at the fieldhouse and FEMA gyms on the Buffalo High School campus.
Adults - $5
Students - $2
Pre-K - free
Parking will be in the north and east parking lots.


Junior High Volleyball season wrapped up their last regular season game on 10/7 with a win against Jasper. Twelve junior high athletes came out this season and allowed Greenfield to be well represented with two full and competitive teams. The Greenfield Lady Wildcats hosted five home games and traveled to seven away games boasting overall records of 9-3 and 10-2 respectively. The Junior High Lady Wildcats are coached by Loganne Hickman.
Congratulations ladies on a wonderful season!


Tonight's game will be in the Godfrey Gym in Jasper.
The start time is 5:30 PM. One game will be played with one set of the B team to follow.

The students in Mrs. McCready's advanced foods class practiced measuring skills and following a simple recipe. They used a basic play dough recipe as their first lab experience. They have also been working on knife safety and skills.
