Hello, Wildcats!
We have made it to the beginning of week 3 and so far, so good! We are starting to see students with allergy symptoms which is to be expected as the season is starting to change. Because allergy symptoms are so similar to COVID-19 symptoms, please make sure that your child's allergies are being treated so that this doesn't affect their ability to stay in school. We want to keep our kids here!
Please continue to do your daily wellness screenings at home. We must continue this practice to help keep our students in school and learning, so let's work together to make that happen!
If your child has any of the following symptoms, please keep them home (if you have any questions about symptoms, feel free to call me at 417-637-5921 ext. 1212 and I will assist you in making the decision whether they should stay home or not).
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Muscle aches
• Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
• New loss of taste or smell
• New runny nose or congestion
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Sore throat
• Close contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
Also, please don't forget to send your child with a water bottle. Thank you so much for your help keeping our students healthy and learning!
Natasha Myers, R.N.

Good afternoon! I would like to remind everyone that Tuesday, August 25th is the first day of school. Doors open for breakfast at 7:30 for both buildings, with classes in the Elementary beginning at 8:00 and ending at 3:45, classes beginning in the JH/HS at 8:06 and ending at 3:51. Due to Covid-19, all students are encouraged to bring a water bottle with them to school.

As the school year approaches, Nurse Natasha would like to share some health tips to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and community.

Meet the Teacher night is tonight from 4:00-6:00 pm at both the JH/HS and the Elementary School. Both events will use a drive through format.
