GHS Cheer is looking for High School Cheerleaders! If you are a HS student interested in cheering for the winter sports season, you are welcome to come to practice @ the ES gym this week.

* December 2nd 5:30-6:30pm
* December 3rd 4-5pm
* December 9th & 10th 4 -5pm
Due to an increase in quarantines among staff and students, the Greenfield R-IV School District will be transitioning to virtual instruction Wednesday, November 18th. School will be in session on Tuesday, November 17th to hand out chromebooks and/or homework packets. The district will then transition to virtual instruction from November 18th - November 30th. Plans are to return to in class instruction on Tuesday, December 1st.

Students in High School Nutrition are studying the function of carbohydrates in our diet. Students explored the unit by making a delicious chicken stir fry. Great job, kids!
The JH Girls Basketball away game scheduled for tonight, 11/13/20, against Westport has been cancelled due to Covid-19.
A reschedule date has not been determined yet.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, the Greenfield School District will not be holding its annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th. As a current member of the Army National Guard, I would like to say thank you to all that have served!

Spring Virtual Learning Enrollment Information
Let's go, ladies!
Congratulations to the Greenfield Lady Wildcats who are are now Class 1 District 9 CHAMPIONS! The team swept Golden City in three straight sets to earn their hardware. Greenfield will advance to the sectional game on Saturday, 10/31, to face the winner of District 11.

For the second year in a row, the Greenfield Lady Wildcats volleyball team have earned a spot in the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP game.

Harvest Fun
In preparation for flu season and to help with home screening for sickness, we have partnered with the Kinsa Fluency program to help get a smart thermometer into every home. In addition to the thermometer, you will have access to real time information and updates about what illnesses are going around in your child's classroom. This is a voluntary program, but a great resource!
