
This week is National School Breakfast week. We are celebrating with themes. Note that each building is slightly different. Thank you to our kitchen staff for all you do!



Families had fun with activities at Dr. Seuss Night hosted by Greenfield Parents as Teachers and Wildcat Academy!





Mrs. Morschheimer took advantage of the warm weather today by taking some students outside to practice words with short vowels!


Greenfield Schools will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2nd. The city is still under a boil order, so please send drinking water to school with your student(s). Bottled water will be available for any student that does not bring water with them.

Greenfield will be closed Thursday, February 24th due to winter weather. The snow day will be made up on May 26th.

Today is AMI day 4 for students.


Greenfield R-4 will be closed Wednesday, February 23rd, due to incoming winter weather.

Greenfield Parents as Teachers and the Wildcat Academy will be hosting a Dr. Seuss Night. Families with children ages birth - Pre-K 5 are invited to attend. There will be Dr. Seuss puzzles, games and activities to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.

Due to incoming winter weather, Greenfield R-IV will be closed today, Thursday, February 17th.
Reminder: School is also scheduled to be closed, Friday, February 18th.
Students will return to school, Tuesday, February 22nd.

2-22-22 will be a "Twos"day celebration at Greenfield Elementary. Students may wear tutus, ties and tennis shoes!


Mrs. Kim Baxter, fourth grade teacher at Greenfield Elementary was named the 2021 Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year! Celebrating with her are her students from this school year as well as the 2020-2021 school year. Congratulations Mrs. Baxter!! We're glad to have you as a #W1ldcat! Thank you to GACC for supporting our school and our teachers!




Ms. Burton's 5th grade homeroom has been building up cursive writing skills all school year. Four students with the most beautiful cursive writing were selected to show off their skills. Great effort by all of the students!

Due to incoming weather, Greenfield will be closed Thursday, February 3rd. Students will need to complete work for AMI Day 1.

Due to the Winter Storm Warning, Greenfield R-IV will not be in session, Wednesday, February 2nd. This day was built into the calendar and will not be made up.
If school is out of session, Thursday, February 3rd, students will need to complete work for AMI Day 1 (Alternate Method of Instruction) that can be found on their chrome book or was sent home as a paper packet.

Peek in the classroom! Mrs. Carlin's second grade class studied weather. Students learned about different types of clouds and the water cycle. They performed an experiment to demonstrate which clouds determine rainy weather and what causes rain!
