Wildcat Wellness Notes from Nurse Natasha

This week, Greenfield Elementary students were visited by NED's Mindset Mission. Students learned that we Never Give Up, Encourage others and Do Your Best.
The Greenfield R-IV School District will not have school, Tuesday, November 12th, due to poor road conditions and extreme cold.

Reminder- Cox CARE Mobile is coming to do flu shots tomorrow (Tuesday), if you previously signed your child up to receive their flu shot, please don't forget to fill out the registration packet that came home last week and return it tomorrow. Last week the Greenfield Elementary celebrated our 1st quarter awards assembly. Honor roll, perfect attendance and Strive for 5 awards were recognized. In addition, the top sellers of the fundraiser got to silly string the principal.
The Class of 2020 will be hosting a Pasta Dinner this Sunday, October 27th from 11am-2 pm. Cost of the meal is a donation and will include baked spaghetti or baked alfredo, salad, garlic bread, drink, and several homemade desserts to choose from! Come hungry!
This week Greenfield Elementary students have participated in Red Ribbon Week with dress up days and special guests. Tuesday was crazy hair day and our "Just Say NO" magic show.
Red Ribbon Week is October 22nd-25th. Please be advised we have a change in dress up days due to picture retakes.

Each year Greenfield's 5th Grade students individually write to a state governor in the hopes of receiving information back for a project they will complete at the end of the year. Pamphlets, letters, and in 5th Grade student Skyler's case... a box full of goodies was received!

Preschool--Jocelynn Richter
Jocelynn always listens and follows directions. She always has a positive attitude in the classroom.
Kindergarten-- Allison Jett-Wade
Allison is always listening and doing her very best. She is quiet, raises her hand before she speaks and is polite to both teachers and students. She is also very helpful to other students.
First Grade--Chevy Beach
Chevy comes to school with a smile and a happy attitude every day. She works hard in class and is always willing to help in any way possible with the other students and with me. She is a ray of sunshine!
Second Grade--Kohen Mia
Kohen is responsible and respectful. She is willing to help out her peers and sets a great example. Kohen is a hard worker and makes great choices. Great job, Kohen! Keep up the good work!
Third Grade--CJ Nolan
CJ is extremely responsible, respectful, excels academically and is a great example to his peers. He follows directions, helps his classmates and shows great maturity.
Fourth Grade--Zane Estes
Zane always comes to school with a smile and a positive attitude towards work, his teachers, and his peers.
Fifth Grade--Owen Daniel
Owen brings a very positive attitude to school each and every day. He is a very hard worker. I can always count on Owen to do his best at everything we do in class.
Sixth Grade--Jessie Worthy
Jessie is always reliable when asked to do something. She works hard and makes good choices. I often see her helping other students, whether it is in the classroom with her peers or in the hallways with younger students.
