2nd Quarter Awards Assembly for Greenfield Elementary starts at 1:30 today.  We are celebrating attendance, Strive for 5, Accelerated Reader and each class has a fun song to sing.  Class Christmas parties start at 2:30.  
We would like to thank everyone who adopted a student for the Helping Hands tree! All items are here and available for pick up. All items need to be picked up by 3:30 on Friday, December 20th.
Tomorrow is Polar Express Day at the elementary. Wear your school appropriate Pajamas. Greenfield R-IV School District. 
Next week we get the opportunity to have some 'Dress-up" Fun.  

A few reminders for Greenfield Elementary!

The Greenfield Elementary Christmas Program will be held at Greenfield High School Thursday, December 5th! The doors will open at 6:00 and the program will begin at 7:00. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Greenfield Elementary's October Students of the Month
Tyler Roby Pre-K	Tyler is always listening and doing his best all the time.   Tyler follows directions.  He is nice to everyone, he is a good friend.
Kylee Downen  Kindergarten
Kylee is a joy to have in class.  She is always prepared and ready to learn!  Kylee is the kind of student who is responsible, respectful, a hard worker,  willing to help anyone who needs it, and always makes good choices.  She sets a great example for her peers.
John Judd  1st Grade    John is an awesome first grader who brings his best to school everyday! He works hard, he is a good friend, and he is seldom seen without a smile. He is very kind to his classmates and he is a pleasure to have in class.
Emily Rysted  2nd Grade	Emily is responsible and respectful. She sets a great example for her peers. Emily is a hard worker and makes great choices.
Aaron Chandler  3rd Grade	Aaron is responsible, respectful, a team leader, and a great example to his peers.  He excels academically, and shows compassion and kindness to everyone he meets. 
Mason Hunter   4th Grade	Mason is hardworking, respectful and helpful.  Mason always tries his best, even when it is difficult.  Mason encourages others and has a positive attitude.
Skyler Robinson   5th Grade	Skyler has a great attitude and works very hard in class everyday.  He is willing to go the extra mile to get something accomplished.
Jacob Booth	6th Grade  Jacob is a new student to our building this school year. He is an excellent example of leadership in his academic work as well as his behavior!  He is a great friend to any one who needs a friend and demonstrates it daily by his actions!

Wildcat Wellness Notes from Nurse Natasha 


Greenfield R-IV and Care to Learn have partnered again this year for the Helping Hands Tree. If you would like to nominate your child (open to grades PK-12th) please fill out and return the attached form. For student adoptions, contact Nurse Natasha at 417-637-5921, ext. 212.

This week, Greenfield Elementary students were visited by NED's Mindset Mission.  Students learned that we Never Give Up, Encourage others and Do Your Best.  



The Greenfield R-IV School District will not have school, Tuesday, November 12th, due to poor road conditions and extreme cold.

Reminder- Cox CARE Mobile is coming to do flu shots tomorrow (Tuesday), if you previously signed your child up to receive their flu shot, please don't forget to fill out the registration packet that came home last week and return it tomorrow. Last week the Greenfield Elementary celebrated our 1st quarter awards assembly.  Honor roll, perfect attendance and Strive for 5 awards were recognized.  In addition, the top sellers of the fundraiser got to silly string the principal.
