First graders enjoyed a field trip to Red Bell Farms. They were able to brush a cow, watch cows get milked, and see the calves, cats and chickens!
Big Cats and NHS had 2 wonderful field trips this month. We wrote letters with our new high school friends and walked to the post office to mail them. Yesterday, we walked to the Dade County Library for a tour of the building and reading with our new friends!
Mrs Long visited 3rd grade today and got to see some of her previous Kindergarteners! She read them a story and did a corresponding craft with them. They loved having her visit!!
Our PTO sure knows how to make us feel appreciated!!! Thank you PTO members for providing an amazing lunch for us! It was such a treat!

Students in Mrs. Maddocks's first grade class played the game Racecar Sight Words. When a car lands on a sight word, students write it down on white boards. Once the list is completed, they rewrite them on paper and make sentences out of them later. What a fun way to learn!

Greenfield R-IV will be in session next week, Monday, April 3rd - Thursday, April 6th.
School will not be in session Friday, April 7th or Monday, April 10th.
This is the last 4-Day weekend scheduled for the 2022-2023 school year.
Tomorrow night will be our 4th Kindergarten Readiness Night. Come meet our art teacher, Mrs. Jones! She will give you a tour of the art room. Your student will have the opportunity to create an art project using paints, drawing supplies or collage materials. Come on out!
